Ineva May Pittman was educated at Elliot Elementary in Jayess, MS, Shady Grove Elementary in Jackson and is a 1952 graduate of Smith Robertson (Lanier High School). Later she attended C.M.& I. College and Jackson State University, both in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Pittman is a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a life member of the NAACP. more..

Amos is one of the founders of the Lanier High School National Alumni Association and under his 10-year leadership as President of the LHSNAA a tremendous growth occurred. Financial support for the students and school was accomplished through donations from businesses and the selling of T-shirts. Presently Amos Wilcher is a Gold Life Member of LHSNAA.
Amos retired from the United State Air Force and later retired from the United States Postal Service. He is currently a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars where he serves as a Trustee, and a member of the Presidential Halls. Continual work with this group keeps him active and young. He is also a member of his Homeowners Association and a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church.
Jesse Hearn, Jr.
Jesse graduated from Lanier High School in 1966. He later received his BS degree form Jackson State University in Education. Presently he lives in Hinds County and is semi-retired from his career in Wealth Management with J.B. Hanauer, Royal Bank of Canada and Ameriprise Financial.
Jesse serves as the Executive Manager of LHSNAA where he often leans on his work as the President of the Suncoast Optimist Club in Sarasota, Florida for eight years. He enjoys the outdoors and can be found tending his nut trees or fruit trees, working in his organic garden, and, as he says, "...becoming a meaningful citizen,"
Beulah Nelson Russell
Mrs. Beulah Nelson Russell is a 1955 graduate of Lanier High School. She received her B.S. Degree from Xavier University in Louisiana and her M.A. Degree from the University of Florida. Mrs. Russell has served in many capacities as an educator during her long career. She retired as the director of the City of Jackson, MS Early Childhood Development Division. more..
Hazel P. Bryant Shields
Hazel Shields grew up on Pleasant Avenue and West Ash Street both in Georgetown. She attended Holy Ghost Elementary and Mary C. Jones Elementary. Later she entered W.H. Lanier Junior-Senior High School located at 833 West Maple Street. While at Lanier she participated in the Choir, Girl Scouts, Y-Teens, Journalism Club and had a short stent in the Band.
